"Mosaics as Meditation" weekend retreat at the Abbey of St. Walburga near Virginia Dale, CO. Come explore modern mosaics in a contemplative setting as you enter into a quiet space to listen and respond to God while arranging glass, found objects and other materials into a mosaic. Exploring Modern Mosaics - Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico -- beautiful Georgia O'Keeffe country!

Explore modern mosaics and discover why the medium is so captivating. Students will learn how to nip and cut glass, choose materials and adhesives for different applications, grout and finish projects. This course is great for beginning mosaic artists as well as anyone who would like to sharpen mosaic skills or develop new techniques.
