MOSAICS AS MEDITATION RETREAT ~ June 15-18, 2012 Abbey of St. Walburga Virginia Dale, Colorado This popular weekend workshop is already scheduled again for 2012! Come explore mosaic art in the contemplative Abbey setting northwest of Fort Collins. Time together will center on being open to the creative journey, finding beauty in what was once broken. We will listen and respond to God while arranging glass and other materials into a mosaic. The weekend will include four workshop sessions for all levels. Participants will also have time to explore the outdoors, worship or rest. Registration will be through the Abbey of St. Walburga EXPLORE MODERN MOSAICS ~ July 15-22, 2012 Ghost Ranch Abiquiu, New Mexico Explore contemporary mosaics and discover why the medium is so captivating. This ancient art form is finding renewed popularity. This course is great for beginning mosaic artists as well as anyone who would like to sharpen mosaic skills or develop new techniques. This hands-on course offers plenty of instruction along the way. Students will receive a short list of items to bring.
